Last Updated: October 23, 2026

Welcome to Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong. By accessing this organization portal, registering for events, reserving facilities, participating in activities, or utilizing our community services, you ("User", "Attendee", or "Patron") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this portal.

1. DIRECT RELATIONSHIP WITH KOREAN CULTURAL CENTER IN HONG KONG

1.1 Direct Contractual Agreement: These Terms constitute a direct, legally binding agreement solely between you and Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong ("the Organization", "we", "us", or "our").

1.2 Organization Responsibility: Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is exclusively responsible for all activities, presentations, venue facilities, volunteer shifts, publications, and administrative notices presented on this portal.

2. REGISTRATION, IDENTITY & MINORS

2.1 Account Integrity: Registrations must be submitted with accurate, current, and verifiable contact details. Creating duplicate or fictitious profiles to circumvent event limits is strictly prohibited.

2.2 Minors and Youth Attendance: Attendees under eighteen (18) years of age must obtain parental or legal guardian consent before registering. Where specified in event listings or venue rules, children under twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult.

3. TICKET ALLOCATIONS, ANTI-SCALPING & BALLOT INTEGRITY

3.1 Personal License: Tickets, passes, and priority reservations are issued exclusively for bona fide personal participation and constitute a revocable license.

3.2 Zero-Tolerance Anti-Scalping: Commercial resale, brokering, unauthorized transfer, or offering tickets for profit or auction is strictly prohibited. Any pass obtained through automated scripts, bots, or unauthorized reselling will be voided immediately without refund.

3.3 Ballot Allocation: Where events utilize ballot lotteries or capacity tiers, registrations are processed under equitable allocation rules. Ballot entry does not guarantee ticket issuance.

4. CANCELLATIONS, PUNCTUALITY & NO-SHOW POLICY

4.1 Civic Attendance Commitment: Because community venue capacity is limited, attendees make a commitment to attend all registered sessions.

4.2 Timely Cancellation: If you are unable to attend, you must cancel your registration at least twenty-four (24) hours before the event start time so waitlisted community members may be admitted.

4.3 Punctuality & Reservation Release: Venues reserve the right to reassign or release uncollected tickets or reserved room slots if attendees do not arrive within fifteen (15) minutes of the scheduled start time.

4.4 No-Show Accountability: Repeated failure to attend registered events without timely cancellation ("no-show") may result in lower priority allocation or temporary booking suspension.

5. VENUE USE, FACILITIES & CARE OF PROPERTY

5.1 Premises Guidelines: Patrons utilizing venue facilities must adhere to venue guidelines, preserve architectural fittings and equipment, and follow on-site staff instructions.

5.2 Property Restitution: Any intentional destruction, gross negligence, or unauthorized removal of venue assets will result in financial restitution claims and immediate account review.

6. HEALTH, SAFETY, PROHIBITED ITEMS & EJECTION

6.1 Safety Compliance: Attendees must comply with all posted safety instructions, emergency exit protocols, and statutory health directives.

6.2 Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials, weapons, illicit substances, and unauthorized commercial recording gear are strictly barred from venue premises.

6.3 Right to Refuse Admission: Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong reserves the right to refuse entry or require the immediate departure of any individual exhibiting disruptive, violent, discriminatory, or harassing behavior, without compensation.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY, RECORDING & CROWD NOTICE

7.1 Public Documentation: Public events and community gatherings may be photographed, filmed, or audio-recorded by Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong for non-commercial documentation, educational archives, or community reporting.

7.2 Attendee Notice: By entering event premises, you acknowledge that your likeness may appear in general crowd photographs or video clips. Attendees who prefer not to appear in close-up media may notify on-site reception upon arrival.

8. WEATHER WARNINGS, EMERGENCIES & FORCE MAJEURE

8.1 Severe Weather Protocols: In the event of severe weather alerts, typhoons, blizzards, floods, or civil defense emergencies affecting the venue location, scheduled activities will be automatically postponed or cancelled for community safety.

8.2 Absence Exemption: No-show penalties and booking deductions are entirely waived during documented severe weather or civil emergency conditions.

9. INDEPENDENT SOFTWARE INTERMEDIARY & PLATFORM LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Technical Intermediary Role: This portal operates on an independent technological ticketing and reservation infrastructure. The platform operator acts strictly as a neutral technological intermediary and is not a promoter, co-organizer, employer, principal, or guarantor of Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong.

9.2 Service Availability & Uptime Disclaimer: The software platform, ticket queuing algorithms, and digital check-in systems are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While reasonable technical measures are maintained to ensure platform reliability, neither Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong nor the software platform operator guarantees that digital transmissions, queue placements, or payment handoffs will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or instantaneous. Neither party shall be liable for carrier transmission failures, packet loss, cellular latency, device incompatibilities, or queue timeouts experienced during high-demand ballot or ticketing releases.

9.3 Platform Security & Anti-Tampering: Users agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, probe, or conduct security exploits against the portal software, bypass queue authentication tokens, inject automated scripts or bots, or tamper with dynamic barcode and QR verification mechanisms. Any violation constitutes grounds for immediate ticket cancellation, forfeiture of access, and administrative IP blocking.

9.4 Mutual Hold-Harmless: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the independent software platform operator, its administrators, affiliates, and technical providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, injuries, damages, costs, and legal fees arising out of or related to your attendance at, participation in, or interactions with Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong's events, venues, bookings, or operations.

10. GOVERNING LAW, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & CONTACT

10.1 Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any legal dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

10.2 Consumer Protection Safeguard: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes non-waivable statutory consumer protection rights or statutory remedies granted under applicable local legislation.

10.3 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
